Baroness Saeeda Hussain Warsi, has said she will use her good offices to promote relations between Pakistan and the UK.

Addressing a public meeting in the Beval area of Gujjar Khan, she said all politicians in Pakistan should work together for the betterment of its people she said the UK is providing seven billion rupees aid to Pakistan in the social sector. Describing Pakistan as her second home, Saeeda Warsi said if merit is followed in Pakistan as it is being done in the UK, the problems of Pakistan can be resolved. Minister for water and Power Raja Pervaiz Ashraf hoped that Syeda Warsi would help further improve Pakistan-UK relations. British high commissioner Adam Thomson was also present on the occasion.
